Summary
KindSort has no accounts, no sign-in and no advertising. We do not sell or share your data, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
What we store
Your projects, item details, notes and photos are stored locally in your browser on this device. KindSort does not create an account for you and does not publish any of your content. Nothing is retained on our servers after an analysis is returned.
What we send for analysis
When you tap "Analyse item", the photo you selected, the notes you typed and the condition you chose are sent over an encrypted connection to a third-party AI processing service so it can generate a recommendation. That data is used only to produce your result. It is not published, sold, or used to build a profile of you, and we do not ask the provider to use it for advertising.
Camera and photo library
The camera and your photo library are only accessed when you choose to add a photo, and only the single image you pick is used. KindSort never scans your library in the background.
Consent and what not to upload
Before each analysis you confirm you have permission to upload the photo and that the result is practical guidance only, not a formal valuation. Please do not upload photos of people, identity or financial documents, or anything containing health information.
Children
KindSort is intended for adults handling a household clear-out and is not directed at children.
Deleting your data
You can delete everything at any time from Settings → Delete my data. This clears all projects, items and photos held on this device. You can also email support@kindsort.uk to request deletion or ask a privacy question.
No public sharing
KindSort has no public feed, comments, profiles or user-to-user messaging. Reports you copy, download or share are shared by you, not by us. If an AI result looks wrong or inappropriate you can report it from the support page.
Guidance, not a valuation. KindSort helps you sort a UK home practically. It does not provide formal probate, tax, insurance, legal or professional valuations. For high-value, rare, disputed or legally relevant items, speak to a qualified specialist.
